Court of Appeal dismisses appeal over Sabah assembly dissolution verdict

The Court of Appeal has dismissed an appeal brought by 33 assemblymen against a High Court ruling over the Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri’s decision to dissolve the state legislative assembly on July 30.

The ruling on Tuesday means that the Sabah state election will proceed as scheduled on Sept 26.
