Court greenlights Highland Towers blocks demolition by year-end

The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) plans to demolish the remaining two Highland Towers blocks this year after a court ruling cleared a long-standing legal hurdle.

MPAJ deputy president Hasrolnizam Shaari said the Ampang Magistrate’s Court granted the council permission to proceed with removing the nuisance posed by the abandoned structures.
