Court adjourns as no time to read 599 sodomy charges against man

A unit trust agent claimed trial to 150 charges of sodomising his teenage daughter but the Sessions Court had to adjourn the case to Thursday as he had a total of 599 counts of committing the offences on the girl since she was 13. Apart from the sodomy charges, the 36-year-old divorcee was also charged with raping the 15-year-old girl and with 30 counts of physical sexual assault without intercourse.
