Couple thought they could treat child's severe burns themselves, say JB cops

Police are finalising their investigation on the parents of a child who was not given professional medical care for five days after sustaining severe burns on Dec 30, last year.

Johor police chief Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat on Sunday (Jan 8) said the investigation paper would soon be handed over to the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) for further action, adding that the child's parents were called up for questioning last Wednesday (Jan 4) and were released on police bail.
