Cops to monitor 30 accident hotspots during Op Selamat for CNY

Police have earmarked 30 accident hotspots throughout the country during Op Selamat for Chinese New Year 2023 which will be heavily monitored during the road safety campaign.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the hotspots were at major highways, federal and state roads, nationwide.

He said after launching Op Selamat from Jan 18 to Jan 27 in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration at the Ayer Keroh Rest and Recreational Area of the North-South Expressway in Ayer Keroh, Melaka on Friday (Jan 13).
