Cops to double their presence at the 2Bs: Borders and Beaches

The police will increase “boots on the ground” by 100% at borders and beaches to prevent a third wave of Covid-19 infections potentially brought by illegal immigrants.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador told reporters on Monday that it was a huge risk as no health checks are performed if they enter the country through illegal routes.
