Cops nab man for assaulting Sandakan Municipal Council officer

Police have arrested one suspect following a gang assault on a Sandakan Municipal Council enforcement officer at the Batu 8 Market on Friday (March 6).

Sandakan district police chief Asst Comm George Abd Rakman said the incident occurred at about 2.30pm when the victim and a colleague were monitoring business activities in the market.
