Cops identify ‘Datuk’ in carpark assault, say it was over RM3 parking fee

Brickfields OCPD Assistant Commissioner Ruslan Khalid told The Star on Thursday that police have identified the ‘Datuk’ who was seen hitting and berating a carpark attendant in a video that went viral recently. ACP Ruslan said the 31-year-old victim was attacked for refusing to raise the boom gate after the ‘Datuk’ did not pay the RM3 parking fee.
