Contractor in Ipoh fined RM10,000 for falsifying documents

A 52-year-old contractor was fined RM10,000 by the Ipoh Sessions Court on Tuesday for falsifying documents.

Syed Basri Syed Lin pleaded guilty to have committed the offence at Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah in Slim in Nov, 2018.

According to the charge sheet, he fraudulently used a genuine document for completion of work on water supply maintenance, panel overhauls and water supply system project at the polytechnic's pump house involving a value of RM5,200.
