Consumers advised not to consume alcohol from unknown sources

Deputy Health Minister Dr Lee Boon Chye has advised consumers not to drink alcohol brewed at home, or locally produced in view of the methanol poisoning cases in several states.

Dr Lee said it is believed that the poisoning was due to the victims consuming illicit alcohol.
