Construction companies given 14 days to comply with Covid-19 SOP

The management of construction sites that have been given warning for failure to comply with the standard operating procedures (SOP) to curb the spread of Covid-19 are given 14 days to abide by the guidelines, says Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

The Works Minister said this on Tuesday after visiting a centralised labour quarters in one of the construction project sites at Bangsar South.

Meanwhile, Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said the government will not hesitate to take action against employers who fail to comply with the guidelines in the Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities (Amendment) Act.
