Concerns over oil and gas price hike and shortage grow

South Korea capped the wholesale gasoline price at 1,724 won (US$1.15) per litre on March 13 to curb rising energy costs following the US and Israel war against Iran in the Middle East.
Households in Bangladesh and Nepal are worried that their liquefied petroleum gas supply may be affected and they may have to return to the forest to collect firewood as an alternative.
