Coach's apology already accepted by slapped teens, their parents, claims Melaka exco

Two teenagers and their parents have accepted an apology issued by a Melaka volleyball coach over a slapping incident at a tournament in Kota Tinggi, Johor, that was held on December 16 last year, says VP Shanmugam.

The Melaka Youth, Sports and Non-Governmental Organisations Committee chairman said that on Monday (Jan 2), adding that the Melaka Sports Council would make a decision this Wednesday on the coach's fate after a meeting with representatives from the National Sports Council, Youth and Sports Ministry, the organiser of the tournament as well as the two teenagers and coach.
