Christmas train carries family dreams in Bogota

Bogota opened the Christmas train on Monday (Dec 15, 2025), one of the season's family-friendly activities in the Colombian capital.

Each night, the Tren de la Sabana (Savannah Train) runs its Christmas route from Bogota to Chia, a town 10 kilometers to the north where passengers enjoy a pyrotechnic show.
