Charity food baskets bring Chinese New Year joy to 200

Luck and prosperity arrived straight into the arms of some 200 needy residents in Rawang when they received food baskets for Chinese New Year in Taman Sri Hijau on Sunday (Jan 28).

Handed out by Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) councillor Alice Choo, Selayang MP William Leong and Rawang assemblyman Chua Wei Kiat, the food baskets were meant to help out the B40 community, disabled individuals and single mothers.
