Car wash worker charged with attempted murder of traffic cop in Ipoh

A 29-year-old car wash worker pleaded not guilty in the Ipoh Sessions Court on Wednesday (Sept 30) to attempted murder under Section 307 of the Penal Code.

K. Viknes is accused of ramming his car into Lance Corporal Badrul Izwany Pauzi on Sept 24 to evade arrest.

He also faced eight traffic charges under the Road Transport Act 1987 at the Magistrate's Court.
