Cannabis-based meds proven safe and effective can be registered

The Health Ministry will allow the registration of cannabis-based medication if there is solid evidence the product can be used safely and effectively to treat patients, said caretaker Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin after attending a handover ceremony of the cardiology centre at Serdang Hospital on Monday (Oct 17).
