Candidate selection based on merit, not position, Anwar tells Johor PKR members

Holding positions in PKR does not automatically entitle leaders to be fielded as candidates in the Johor state election, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking at the Johor PKR convention, the PKR president stressed that candidate selection will be based on merit, capability and commitment rather than rank within the party.
