Cambodia-Thailand GBC meeting set for Aug 5 in Kuala Lumpur, says Fahmi

The General Border Committee (GBC) meeting between Cambodia and Thailand, aimed at resolving their border conflict, will be held in Kuala Lumpur next Tuesday (Aug 5).
Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil, who is also the government spokesperson, said the matter was discussed during Friday’s Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He added that the meeting, originally set for Monday in Phnom Penh, was relocated to Kuala Lumpur at Thailand’s request.
