The government will raise funding for STR and SARA assistance to RM16bil in 2027, up from RM15bil, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

He also announced during the tabling of Budget 2027 that all STR recipients will receive up to RM150 monthly in SARA aid, while other Malaysians aged 18 and above will get RM100 twice under SARA MADANI.
