Budget 2027: SMEs to get one percentage point tax cut

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) will receive a one-percentage-point reduction in income tax rates to ease rising operating costs and improve cash flow.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the tax rate on the first RM150,000 of chargeable income would be lowered to 14%.
