The government will allocate RM2.62bil in aid for paddy farmers under Budget 2027 and raise the rubber production incentive to RM3.30 per kg, benefiting over 300,000 smallholders.

Tabling the budget on Friday (Oct 9), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said paddy farmers would receive about RM4,300 per hectare, while fishermen would benefit from expanded assistance and RM178mil in support measures.

More than RM1bil in financing will be available for agricultural entrepreneurs, while farm road repair funding will double to RM100mil, while another RM1.26bil will go towards strengthening Felda’s finances and supporting settlers.
