Budget 2027: PM Anwar tables record RM510bil budget

The government has allocated a record RM510bil under Budget 2027.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also said the fiscal deficit for 2026 is now projected at 3.6% of gross domestic product (GDP), slightly higher than the original target of 3.5%.

Anwar said the government aimed to narrow the deficit further to 3.3% in 2027 and 3% by 2028.
