Budget 2027 framed to ensure comfortable living, social justice for all, says Anwar

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said Budget 2027 aims to improve living standards and promote social justice for all Malaysians by balancing economic development with people's everyday needs.

Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said in the Madani Budget 2027 Special Interview on Saturday (Oct 10) that the budget considers diverse groups, including persons with disabilities, gig workers, delivery riders, pet owners, padi farmers and fishermen.

While acknowledging that the budget cannot solve every problem, he said the government would continue seeking balanced solutions to ease financial pressures, address rural challenges and ensure economic progress translates into better lives for all.
