Budget 2023: Agriculture sector gets RM1.8bil in subsidies and incentives

The government has announced a total allocation of RM1.8bil in subsidies and incentives for paddy farmers, fishermen and small farmers.

Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz said that when tabling Budget 2023 on Friday (Oct 7), adding that the allocation of RM256mil for rainy season assistance for small rubber farmers will benefit 320,000 farmers.
