Budget 2021: RM50 vouchers for B40 groups, tax relief on medical treatment raised

In tabling Budget 2021 on Friday, Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz told the Dewan Rakyat that every individual under the B40 group will receive a special voucher worth RM50 to buy Takaful Hayat and personal accident insurance.

Tengku Zafrul also said the tax relief limit for medical treatment for serious illnesses would be increased from RM6,000 to RM8,000 for the individual taxpayer, spouse and child.
