Bread manufacturer asked to justify price increases, says deputy minister

The Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry has issued a notice asking bread producer Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn Bhd to provide an explanation regarding the price increase of 30 types of its bread range from Oct 1, said deputy minister Fuziah Salleh during her visit to a Rahmah Sale programme in Kuantan on Thursday (Sept 28).
