Body in river case: Cook is seventh person charged with murder

A 26-year-old cook is the latest person to be charged with murder in the case of a man whose body was found floating in Sungai Kinta, Pasir Puteh on May 26.

Harjit Singh Terlok Singh did not enter plea when he was charged at a Magistrate’s Court in Ipoh, Perak on Wednesday (Oct 13) under Section 302 of the Penal Code for killing A. Preshnna, 40, at Jalan Che Puteh on May 23 between 7.30am and 5.30pm.
