Big Tobacco reps were indeed at Parliament during Bill reading, says KJ

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin revealed in a press conference on Friday (July 29) that Big Tobacco representatives were indeed lobbying in Parliament during the first reading of the Tobacco and Smoking Control Bill 2022 on Wednesday (July 27).

He added that their presence there is against the World Health Organisation Framework Convention on Tobacco Control whereby Big Tobacco companies cannot lobby or interfere with tobacco regulations in any country.
