Beware of fake calls from banks

MCA Public complaints bureau Head Datuk Seri Michael Chong is urging the public to be on alert when receiving dubious phone calls from scammers claiming to be from banks.

He said this after a 48-year-old real estate agent fell victim to such a scam when she received a phone call from a person claiming to be a banker from the Citibank credit card transaction department.
