Bersatu Srikandi must produce more women candidates, says chief

Bersatu’s Srikandi wing must produce more women candidates to represent the people in Parliament and state assemblies, said its chief Datuk Mas Ermieyati Samsudin.

In her policy speech at the wing’s annual general assembly on Saturday (Sept 6), she noted that while DAP has produced many women leaders in Parliament, she remains the only female MP from Bersatu.

Mas Ermieyati also called for a dedicated platform to train, mentor and develop future Srikandi leaders.
