Beach erosion getting more serious in Batu Ferringhi

The once beautiful golden sand strip along the popular tourism belt in Batu Ferringhi, Penang is now nearly all gone.

All that is left are previously buried boulders, now exposed due to severe beach erosion.

It is said the phenomenon of strong waves pounding the shore happened since early last year and it got worse.
