Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany said on Friday (Aug 21) that a change in their star midfielder Jamal Musiala's treatment for a neurological dysfunction was the reason for Musiala's collapses in two consecutive matches and that there is no cause for alarm.
The 23-year-old Germany international went down six minutes after coming off the bench in Bayern's 4-2 friendly win at Heidenheim on Aug 18 and required medical attention before being assisted from the pitch.
He also collapsed during Bayern's 3-1 victory over RB Leipzig at the Telekom Cup on Aug 15.
