‌Bangladesh's first ‌female prime minister, Khaleda Zia, ‍died after ‍a prolonged ‌illness, her opposition ‍Bangladesh Nationalist Party said on Tuesday (Dec 30).

Khaleda, aged ‌80, had advanced ‍cirrhosis of the ‍liver, arthritis, diabetes, ‌chest and heart problems.
