Badminton Association of Malaysia secretary Datuk Ng Chin Chai on Wednesday said the absence of national shuttler Datuk Lee Chong Wei will be an opportunity for younger players to rise. He also said the national team would have to re-evaluate their target as the 35-year-old has been the anchor for the last 15 years.
On Tuesday, Chong Wei announced his withdrawal from two upcoming two major competitions due to a respiratory relation disorder.
