Baghdadi’s brother-in-law: We didn’t expect him to be killed

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi's companion and brother-in-law said on Sunday that the leader of Islamic State was hiding in an underground tunnel and discussed plans to change his location when the US raid that killed him took place in Syria.

In an interview with the Al Arabiya news channel, Mohammed Ali Sajet said Baghdadi felt the pressure of security forces closing in on him in Idlib.
