The autopsy conducted on the remains of Nora Anne Quoirin is one of the longest carried out at the Tuanku Ja'afar Hospital in Seremban.

The Star reliably learnt that the post-mortem on the remains of the 15-year-old Irish national, which started at 11.45am Wednesday, ended only at 9pm.

A source familiar with the procedure said it usually takes only a few hours for the autopsy to be completed.

Negri Sembilan police chief Datuk Mohamad Mat Yusop is scheduled to speak to the media at 2pm Thursday.
