Armed Forces veterans may be included under the government pension scheme, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar said this will be the first time that the issue related to veterans will be brought into the agenda of the special meeting to discuss the government service and retirement scheme next Monday (Aug 7).

He told reporters after his speech at the Armed Forces Veteran Empowerment programme, Wisma Perwira ATM, Kuala Lumpur on Monday (July 31).
