The US administration has discussed a new Iranian proposal on resolving the US-Israel war against Tehran but US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Iran is using its threat to disrupt shipping through the Strait of Hormuz as an "economic nuclear weapon" and Tehran is trying to pressure the world while delaying talks on its nuclear programme.
