Before departing for Pakistan on April 10, US Vice President JD Vance said he was looking forward to upcoming negotiations with Iran and that he expected the talks in Islamabad on April 11 to be positive.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he discussed with US President Donald Trump military capabilities and the logistics of moving vessels though the Strait of Hormuz, as the two-week ceasefire between the US and Iran holds.
