Applications fully booked for JB-Singapore travel from Aug 17-19

Applications for cross-border travel between the state capital and Singapore under the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) and Periodic Commuting Arrangement (PCA) are fully booked from Aug 17 to 19.

"We only allow 400 people to travel per week under the RGL or at least 60 people per day and 2,000 people per day under the PCA," said Johor Immigration director Baharuddin Tahir during a visit to the Sultan Iskandar CIQ Building in Johor Baru on Thursday together with Crown Prince of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

Baharuddin said that the department is fully prepared to welcome travellers once the country's border with Singapore reopens on Aug 17.
