Anwar urges youth to emulate Iran in science, tech

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged the younger generation to strengthen their education in research, science and technology by learning from Iran’s capabilities in these fields, so Malaysia can better withstand external pressures.

Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony of the matriculation college in Marang, Terengganu on Monday (April 13), Anwar said Iran’s resilience is underpinned by strong national unity and a strong focus on education, research, science and technology, allowing it to endure pressure from major global economic and military powers.
