Incoming PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he had seen the report and videos alleging Baru Bian’s aide has abused his power and said it was very disturbing.

Anwar said the party takes a serious view of such transgressions and will leave it to the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission (MACC) to take appropriate action.

He will also meet with Works Minister Baru Bian on Wednesday to obtain an explanation regarding corruption accusations concerning the latter’s aide.

It was reported that Sarawak PKR chief’s aide had offered contracts worth RM 20,000 to local leaders on Sept 1 at Taman Merbau near Triang, Pahang to gain support in the party election.
