Anwar commends enforcement agencies for action against high-profile figures

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the performance of enforcement agencies over the past two years has been commendable, particularly in their action against high-profile individuals.
Speaking at a press conference on Saturday (Jan 10), he said agencies including the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, the Inland Revenue Board and the Immigration Department have shown strong commitment in carrying out their duties.
Anwar added that the government is closely monitoring Cabinet ministers and officials to uphold accountability and integrity, stressing that corruption in Malaysia is systemic and requires sustained effort to combat.
