Anwar biopic actor Farid Kamil: Anwar and I are the same, we reject corruption

Farid Kamil, who plays the leading role in “Anwar, The Untold Story”, a biopic of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's political exploits, reveals that one of the criteria when he took up the offer from the film producer, is that the actor has to advocates the cause of fighting corruption.

Farid said like Anwar, he also rejects corruption and he added that he had once turned down a RM5mil bribe in 2017. The movie is expected to open in cinemas nationwide in May.
