Ancient Shu civilisation makes debut at UN in landmark cultural exhibition

An exhibition celebrating China’s ancient Shu civilization opened Monday at the United Nations headquarters in New York, marking the newly established International Day for Dialogue among Civilisations, observed annually on June 10.
Titled “Light of the Sun — Ancient Shu Civilisation and the World,” the exhibition features artifacts and motifs from the famed Sanxingdui and Jinsha archaeological sites in southwest China, dating back roughly 2,800 to 3,600 years.
