Amendments to abolish mandatory death penalty to be tabled in October

The relevant legislative amendments needed to abolish the mandatory death sentence is expected to be tabled in the October parliamentary sitting, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Parliament and Law) Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said on Monday (June 13).
