Amendment to PwD Act to be strengthened, says Nancy

Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said the amendment to strengthen and empower the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Act 2002 is expected to be concluded by June.

Nancy said her ministry is working together with a special team to amend the Act.

She said this after flagging-off the 27th Annual Charity Walk-Jog-Wheel-A Thon organised by the Spastic Children's Association of Selangor and Federal Territory at Dataran Merdeka, Kuala Lumpur on Sunday (Jan 8).
