Alleged drunk driver in Kuantan counter-traffic collision charged with murder

A fish wholesaler was charged in the Magistrate Court in Kuantan, Pahang on Monday for killing 41-year-old Alam Flora supervisor Irwan Herman Kamarudin, whose car was rammed by another car driven against the traffic flow in Jalan Pintasan Kuantan last week.

Teoh Kian Peng, 42, from Tanah Putih, Kuantan, who is believed to have been drunk during the incident, indicated that he understood the murder charge read out to him before Magistrate Najwa Hashim.
