All Tabika KEMAS to get smartboards by 2027, says Zahid

All KEMAS Tabika (kindergarten) classes nationwide are expected to be equipped with smartboards by the end of next year as part of efforts to strengthen technology-based early childhood education.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the initiative is part of KEMAS' digital transformation which includes introducing AI-based learning tools for children as young as two.

Speaking to KEMAS staff in Mantin on Tuesday (July 21), Zahid also said KEMAS is also continuing its Quranic education initiative for children aged two and above, with a focus on learning and memorising Juz 30.
